Yamaha Motorcycle Parts OnlineYamaha ATV Parts: The Quest For Great Parts
Posted on April 24, 2010WORST OF THE WORST:
Take it for what its worth I have had some complaints lately on Ebay.Com. Its not Ebays fault but lately its beginning to look like a dollar store. I know thats what the point and purpose of this site is supposed to be about in the first place however…. The selection there is really shoddy when it comes to really good Yamaha atv parts. You can find a lot of the same thing there and thats part of the problem I have with it.
Its as if you have one buyer who bought too many of the same things. And thats exactly what it looks like. You got too many of the wrong things in one location and thats not good for anybody.
The worst of the ATV parts has to go to Ebay. I didn’t have too much luck lately with Amazon.com either. There are too many things on there that are Yamaha related but do not always have anything to do with ATV specifically. There are plenty of Yamaha accessories.

Yamaha ATV Parts: Yamaha ATV Parts Featured at Online Open House Video
Posted on April 24, 2010Looking for the right Yamaha motorcycle part can be a daunting task. You may have to go through several used parts dealers before you find the right part you are looking for. The other dramas you will face no doubt will come in the form of gas, expense and time. At the end of the day you will be looking at an extensive amount of effort and you may have very little to show for it. This is what it is like when you are looking for motorcycle OEM parts for top brands including Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Honda.
That’s why you need to grab opportunities when you can. Powers Motor Sports, located in Fremont Michigan has another solution for you. These guys will literally open the door for you to come in and search through its wide showroom and even invite you back to the parts room to find the exact parts you are looking for. This is important because now you are able to get an inside view of a truly great resource. Powers Motor Sports typically runs their open house two times a year.
Online powerhouse Ted Cantu featured Powers Motor Sports on the popular Hot Metro Finds web site. This video site showcases the best of Michigan based businesses and promotes them on the Internet through viral marketing practices. This site takes search engine optimization to a whole other level.
“In the beginning nobody could understand the importance of going viral. Businesses confused it with being a virus. But this is not a virus in the negative sense. This is about Michigan companies like Yamaha atv parts dealer Powers Edge reaching more people through the web.” Says site creator Ted Cantu.
Now online searchers for Yamaha parts can see the new motorcycles of the season on video web sites like Hot Metro Finds and other video sites such as Revver and YouTube.Com. You are able to take a virtual walk through in the showroom and meet the staff right from your living room.
“The idea to showcase a showroom like Powers Edge was to bring the shopping experience to the end customer. We wanted to bring more to the table than just pictures and prices. Now we are able to show multiple Yamaha atv parts, new Yamaha rides and Yamaha motorcycles to the motorbike enthusiast and that has everyone excited. It’s a brand new culture that is emerging and the Internet plays a major role in that.” Says Cantu.

Can An Yamaha ATV Parts Reseller Really Be That Good?
Posted on April 18, 2010I got news for you cowboy. They’re not all that great. When we did our little investigation we found out that many of these sites like to use offshore customer service. Getting these foreigners to understand the English order was a very tall order. This created a lot of frustration and that was when we weren’t put on hold for hours on end. Some of these companies had three levels of management for every question we asked.
We had to throw in the towel on some of these sites because the customer service was that bad. It really is a toss up when you are looking for a good online atv parts dealer. My personal choice is to go for the ones that are based in this country, the good ol’ USA. My other bit of advice is to stick close to sites that offer a realistic percentage savings like 20%-35%. For me, this appears more realistic that some dealer who is trying to sell you the moon and everything on it.
• SO lets recap:
When buying Yamaha ATV parts online you should look for the following:
Always deal witha company that has English speaking tech help
• Stick with a realistic savings percentage of 20%-35%
• Buy authentic Yamaha oem parts from the dealer
• Avoid third party parts from unknown companies
We had some problems trying to locate a working phone number on some of these sites. We also had a problem trying to get the emails to work. So before you plunk down your credit card make sure that there is something real on the other side. Card theft is something you will need to watch out for. There are a lot of scammers online no matter if you are buying Yamaha atv parts, or motorsports bikes. We published a list of online scams on my other sites and blogs.
WARNING: NO MATTER WHAT – Make sure you never accept a bank draft when ordering online. Don’t do anything that sounds out of the ordinary and if you are ever confused contact the BBB before you purchase anything. We are in the information age and not every web site out there is legit.
Yamaha ATV Parts Online Price War!
Posted on April 18, 2010I have written about this before on my blog. Since I have received a lot of inquiries about this I will explain myself in detail. You know when you are looking for Yamaha atv parts online you have your pick of many different resources. Thanks to the Internet we have many different official Yamaha OEM parts sellers online. These sites are offering 30% off, 50% off and more. At first glance you may think you are going to get some incredible savings.
Little does the buyer know that many of these unscrupulous dealers are going to make their money back on inflated shipping charges. By charging the customer more money on shipping they can create the illusion of incredible savings. What ingenius idea.
This is not the case for every ATV parts seller of course but it does run rampant. I would be a bit leary of any online Atv parts reseller that offers a 50% discount. At first glance this is just too good to be believed. And you know…. It is.
This has created the illusion of a price war.

News today that the fallout from Yamaha’s recent financial woes has hit Canadian motor sport.
Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. announced that it will not participate in the 2010 Parts Canada Superbike Series, meaning there will no longer be an official Yamaha race team or the traditional manufacturer support for the series.
“Today’s economic climate forces us all to make tough decisions.” commented Tim Kennedy, National Manager, Marketing. “Our participation in the series was one of them.”
Although there will be no involvement in 2010, Kennedy stated, “Racing is integral to the Yamaha brand, and we will re-visit this opportunity in the future.”
Last season Andre Laurin and his squad handled Yamaha’s Canadian road racing program with assistance from Evan Steele Performance and sponsorship from Toyota Canada. Lead rider Kevin Lacombe rode a YZF-R1 to sixth in Parts Canada Superbike points with podium finishes in four of the seven races and took third in the Yoshimura Pro Sport Bike standings.
The national superbike series continues with the support of Parts Canada, Pirelli Tires, BMW Motorrad Canada, Canadian Kawasaki Motors, Honda Canada and Suzuki Canada. The 2010 race schedule will be released shortly.
